my favorite book has to be lover reborn. i couldnt put it down. so many twists you never knew what was gonna happen next. tohrment is my favorite character, he is so loving and caring, but can be a hard and strong when he needs to be! i am so happy that he has found autumn they belong together. so much hurt and pain they both deserve to have a life filled with love. and as for my least favorite book....your kidding right i dont have one. love them all and cant wait til next year for the new book to come out.

Thank you. I have to admit, I share the love for Lover Reborn (as a reader) and as a character. I was very pleased how she spun it all together. And of course, love Autumn.
Prior to that book, it was the very first Dark Lover- Wrath and Beth's story. I loved it. Perhaps thats because it hadn't gotten as confusing with all the sub-plots as others. Simple, pure and wonderful.
My least favorite (And agree, even that is mild) Lover Unleashed- Is Payne and Manny's book. It just didn't do anything for me.

I would have to say and NOT because I am biased but because it's really my opinion, Lover Revealed has always been my favorite. Butch was my favorite brother before he was a brother.
I have a close second of Lover Reborn...very close second. So much emotion in that book.
Least favorite? Kinda don't have one but if I have to choose it would be Phury's I didn't get into it like the others.

I have to agree on Butch's book. To be honest, he's one of my favorite Brother's as well.

Don't really have a least favorite but my favorite is Lover Unbound. V caught my attention from the first moment he was introduced. Sexy and hardcore. Jane coming into his life showing him he was worthy of being loved and that it didn't make him less of a male because of what he went through with his mother and father and that it was ok to let others know he had feelings just got to me and made their story my favorite.

I'm going to say Butch's book is my second fav, first being Dark Lover. DL because it was the introduction to this world and painted an unbelievably well rounded new world, Wrath was indescribably perfect, it began with a huge kick in the ass and ended with a bang.
Least fav would be Payne's book. One because it really was a second V & Jane book yet V was a completely different character in it than any of the others ( thankfully redeemed in Tohr's book) and two; Payne wasn't as full and rounded as I'd hoped.
On the side, Father Mine was so damn good I actually tear up just thinking about it. Though the struggle between Bella and Zsadist seems ongoing and eternal her strength shines amazingly in both Z's book and that one.

The struggle V had is ongoing, even carries through to Payne's book. From what I gathered there, he still deals with the issues that have plagued him for his 300 plus I'm thinking 5 years now. Though the breakthrough with Butch was an unexpected twist.

Great, loving the input. Keep it up.
And I think thats part of the reason I didn't like Payne's book as well. It wasnt meaty enough and I did not like how she changed Vishous in that book. But agree he was redeemed in LR.

Payne's book just didn't hold my attention as much as the others.

Seems to be the consensus so far. I think that was a factor in her changing the formula for Lover Reborn. Many were not happy with how the series was going or how she changed her writing style.

So I'm thinking now that Paynes book is my least fave b/c I totally forgot I read it. I couldn't even think of it enough to say it was my least fave. I love Manny and Payne just not the way she wrote their story.

I liked it but it wasn't one that I couldn't put down like all the others which I read four times! Went through quite a few tissues reading Lover Reborn.

Agreed, I like the characters of Payne and Manny, just not how they were done. There was so much more that could have been done.
And Tamera, I can personally say that Autumn and I both shared the tissues for Lover Reborn.

Lol, it was in my opinion one of the most touching stories of all. I'm hoping to read more on Lassiter, Qhuinn and Blay in the next book.

Dark Lover to me, was the changing point in Vampire Romance. If not for Wrath and Beth, the opening scene with Darius and Tohrment; our world would be a different place.
Loved the hints given out before LR. "A new Brother" we all can pretty much assume whom that is now and truthfully that part in the book was extreamly touching to me. After everything Qhuinn has gone through to have that waiting in the wings for him is amazing.
Let's not forget Lover Awakened. Zsadist and Phury's struggle within the book along with Bella's trials were the stuff of true BDB romance and heartache. I'll never forget his biting the human in an alley in front of her to try and prove himself unworthy. To think he didn't get rid of the Mistress until FM.

Well I think I would have to say my favorite book is Lover Eternal. I just loved Rhage, he is funny and sexy. I also loved what he went through for Mary... Giving her up so she could live. I cried when he went through the mourning ritual for her...
I would have to say my least was Manny and Payne's for the obvious reason... It didn't seen like they were major characters in their own book.

Yes that's also one of my favorites. The way Rhage excepted his curse for the rest of his time on earth just so he could be with Mary.

Favorite BDB book has to be Lover Unbound. Vishous is...Vishous. I love that he doesn't lie. Plus the black hair, tattoos and diamond white eyes takes my breath away!!
My least favorite is Lover Enshrined which sucks because Phury is an amazing male. I found it hard to feel the love between him and Cormia. What saved this book for me was Lash getting his throat cut!!

Don't worry Beth, we will not let Brother Vishous use that tactic again. Smiles.
But loving the comments, keep them coming.

Just by reading Wrath and Beth's story I knew I would love the whole series and with each new character that came along I also knew I wouldn't be able to read just a few, I would have to read every one! BDB is my favorite series of all I have read.

Waves- Guess I don't really have a favorite. I did enjoy lover reborn, though all my character did was drive? lol.
But have to agree with payne and manny's being the one I enjoyed less than the rest.

Your character has done so much more for the brotherhood than being a driver.

My fave is "Dark Lover"' in part because it was the first one I read and it got me hooked. Second fave would be Butch's.
I was so uninterested when reading "Lover Enshrined" I actually quit reading it about half way through and didn't bother picking it up again till over a year later. Sadly, it hadn't improved. Really was disappointed with "Lover Mine". Regretted buying the HB and wasting my $. It was too disjointed, did not flow well, and she tried to do too much and ended up doing a disservice to Payne and Manny by making them secondary in their own book. And, IMO, their story was just not that interesting, much like Phury and Cormia's. I honestly grew to like them only because of how well they were written by some RPers on FB.
I took a chance that the Warden would return to the formula that worked so well and bought "Lover Reborn" the day it was released.....but haven't even cracked the spine yet. Will probably start to read it in the next couple weeks, when I am on summer break.

Dawn, I as you lost a lot of faith in the author about half-way and basically scanned the rest. Some stuck out as meaty bits, other's fell very short. Hence why the first is still my favorite.
I like you, were on the fence with Lover Reborn, partly out of obligation with this face and partly out of not wanting to be disappointed. Faith won out and she truly does restore the faith in the series by going to a less complicated vs dozen no-meat stories in one forumla in this book and I love it as much as DL. I've read them both equally now- 3-4 times, where as some of the others I could barely handle getting through once.
When you give it a read, let us know if your faith, too, has been restored.
