He stood outside jogging pants and a t-shirt. He'd traded his boots for running shoes. Having text Xhex that he didn't want to go for a run alone he waited for her to meet him out in the back yard of the mansion. He wanted to take a run in the woods.
Sat down in the grass and looked up at the moon. Then placed the soles of his feet together and butterfly'ed his knees out to stretch. He rolled his neck and then stretched his legs out in front of him, reaching for his toes. All while keeping an ear and eye out for Xhex.

His text made her smile and she dragged herself out of bed to dress in running shorts and a tank top. They didn't run through the woods often, instead choosing to use the gym to work out. The idea appealed to her and she tugged on her running shoes quickly. She waved to Fritz as she jogged down the stairs and out the door. It didn't take her long to find John Matthew and she sat down across from him, stretching out her legs in nearly a split. "Good idea, baby."

He smiled as he heard her come from the back of the house. Looking up at her his eyes raked over her body and his smile grew. Watching her across from him, he tilted his head at her split. Nodding, mouthed the words. Very good idea.
He scooted forward and put their feet together, grabbing her hands he pulled her forward to stretch her back, she did the same for him. Letting his hands fall to his sides he looked to the woods. I figure we could take the path I used to take with Zadist when we would go walking. He shrugged. It would be fun at a faster pace.

She smiled and looked towards the woods and the path. "That'll be a good run." She jumped to her feet and reached down to haul him up. "Alright, let's get going." Grinning at him, she turned and started off at an easy pace.

He smiled is big smile he usually only reserved for Xhex and hopped up. He started out next to her, their gait in step as they jogged over the leaves and branches that had fallen to the ground.
He could hear many of the animals scurrying away as they would come closer. He saw a large tree that had fallen across their path and frowned. It must have fallen during a storm or something.
He whistled for her attention, Jump it. He grinned and pointed to the tree.

The run was warming her up, making her muscles loose. She grinned at him and then turned back to the path, leaping over the fallen tree easily. She slowed a little and turned to watch him jump the tree as well, grinning at him as he landed smoothly on the other side. Turning, she started to increase her speed, wanting to gain a few feet on him. She looked over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at him. "What? You can't keep up with me?"

His jaw dropped and he narrowed his eyes. I'll show her, he thought. He took a few big steps and caught up with her. He bumped her with his hip as he passed her and smiled.
Turning he started jogging backward, taunting her.

She almost laughed when he bumped her and then passed, but held it back. Lowering her head, she veered off the path and leaped on top of and then off rocks, sprinting between the obstacles of logs and boulders. Even with the obstacles in her path, she started to overtake him, her look challenging him to beat her now. Running full out, she leaped and jumped, veered around trees, and then hopped back onto the path in front of John Matthew, grinning at him over her shoulder. "You're going to have to do better than that."

He tilted his head. He almost wanted to stay back here and watch her move. He loved to watch her muscle bunch and stretch as she ran and jumped. Probably his most favorite image.
But then...he didn't want her to win. He grinned and bolted out full speed. Jumped up, planted a foot on a tree and launched him self over her to another, swung from a branch and landed in a crouch a few steps ahead. Smiled Was that better?

Her eyes widened as she watched him flying and leaping over her. When he landed, her eyes narrowed and she kept going full tilt. As she neared him, she pushed off with her feet and flew at him, tackling him hard enough that they rolled several times. When they stopped, she was straddling his stomach, grinning down at him. "I win."

His brows raised and he shook his head slowly. Grabbed the nape of her neck and pulled her down. Kissing her hard he licked her lips and let her go. Mouthing, No...I win.
He blinked when a drop of her sweat dripped onto his mouth. He grinned and his tongue darted out to lick it off.

Grinning, she shook her head, her lips still tingling from his kiss. "That's what you think, but clearly I won." She sat up and pointed to herself and then down at him. "See, I'm on top." Reaching down, she pulled a twig with some leaves out of his hair and tossed it aside. "You really shouldn't roll around on the ground, you get all dirty."

He pulled her to him and kissed her cheek. She may think she won but that assault she gave him, clearly he was the winner. I like being dirty, I'm a boy

Laughing, she kissed him, letting her tongue tease his. Smiling, she leaned back. "That's good because I like you dirty." She winked at him and jumped to her feet, racing along the path back toward the manse.
