1.)To change your display name:
Go to your profile.
Click Modify Profile.
The fourth box under Account Information is where you can change your name. It can be anything you want it to be, as long as it isn't offensive.
2.) To keep up with topics:
At the top of the forum there is a button shaped like a Star and it says "new topics"
It shows you who created it and who last responded to it.
3.) Posting a thread:
Easy -- click the relevant button on either the forum or topic screens. You may need to register before you can post a message. The facilities available to you are listed at the bottom of the forum and topic screens (the You can post new topics, You can vote in polls, etc. list)
4.)Editing or Deleting a post:
Unless you are the board admin or forum moderator you can only edit or delete your own posts. You can edit a post by clicking the "modify" button for the relevant post; located at the top of the post. If someone has already replied to the post, you will find a small piece of text output below the post when you return to the topic that lists the number of times you edited it. This will only appear if no one has replied; it also will not appear if moderators or administrators edit the post. To delete click the "delete" button. Please note that you may not be able to delete a post once someone has replied.
5.) Creating a poll:
Creating a poll is easy -- instead of picking "new thread" click on "new poll".
There you can add the title of the poll and up 8 answers.
You can change how many answers a user can choose, and if they can change their answer later.
You can also make a time limit on the poll, with '0' meaning no time limit.
6.)Editing or deleting a poll:
You can't edit the poll, but you can edit the post accompanying the poll--sucks I know.
To do so, is just like editing or deleting a normal post.
As with posts, polls can only be edited by the original poster, a moderator, or board administrator.
7.) Adding pictures into posts:
There are two ways.
One: When creating a new topic, right below the box to title the post, there is a button that says "Choose File." Clicking that will allow you to upload pictures straight from your computer.
Two: You can also use URL's from other websites--such as Photobucket--to place pictures into posts. To do so place:

8.) Uploading avatars:
Go to your profile.
Click Modify Profile.
Under Personal Information.
7th box down.
Post the url of your picture--again from Photobucket or websites like it.
Width = 95
Height = 100
9.) Picture Signatures:
Go to your profile.
Click Modify Profile.
Under "Personal Information"
11th box down.
