When I returned to GC, I went to the kitchen and found Phillipa. She knew I had gone to feed Vishous and that I'd need a repast upon arriving back home. She had just finished baking chicken with baked potatoes and green beans. My favorite dinner, I smiled at her as she made my plate and placed it on the table with a Pepsi.
"Thank you Phillipa, you always know just what I'm craving."
Sitting down at the table, I realized I hadn't eaten in a day and a half. That could also be a possible cause for my healing so slowing and my trip to Jane. I also needed to take my antibiotics after I ate.

The other thing I needed to do was to return to the other side to recuperate. I did not feed from anyone on this side and it was required to keep up my strength. Since I was the last Sequestered Scribe, even though I had given up the position, I didn't think anyone had replaced me. So many of the Chosen were now on this side, I still felt an obligation.
After eating, I thanked Phillipa and went upstairs. I needed to take my antibiotics and check that my hair was properly braided and wrapped on top of my head before dematting over.
Changing into fresh robes, I took my cell phone and sent a text to Layla, Cormia and Phury.
~txt~ Going to the other side for a couple of days. Will be back before you miss me. Love you all ~send txt~

Making one last pass in the mirror, I made sure everything was just right. Heading downstairs, I told Phillipa where I was going and went out onto the back patio. After calming my self I dematted to the other side.
I arrived in the courtyard as usual. Looking around, everything was still silent except the a low song the songbirds were singing. Ever since the Scribe Virgin seemed to be losing some of her powers, the songbirds sang lower in volume.
I could still hear the soft tinkling of the water in the fountain. Sitting on the edge of the marble fountain, I let my fingers down into the slightly flowing water. Everything on this was still the same as I had left it. Flowers not bloomed in different colors, the grass was now green as opposed to everything being the pristine white before the agreement was made between the Primale and the Scribe Virgin.

Removing my fingers from the water, I stood and made my way to the Temple of Sequestered Scribes. Willing the doors open, I stepped into the darkness there. I willed the many candles to light. The soft glow the same as when I had been here last.
Although the color has come to the other side, and my gown now purple, I went still to my previous bed and laid down for a bit of rest. There still was no need for blankets, the temperature still being static as if an air conditioner were set on a specific temperature and it never fluctuated.

Waking from just a few hours of sleep, I decided while my body recuperates from both the feeding of Vishous and the gunshot wound, I do a bit of catching up on the volumes and check to see if the Scribe Virgin had recorded anything new to be transcribed.
I went to the window and gathered the scrolls to be either corrected or bound and set to work. I did the bindings first as that was the last thing to be done in getting those pages into the volumes. After cutting the pages to the exact size, I placed them in the correct volumes and placed them back on the shelves in the Library.

Coming back from the library, I sat at my desk and began making the corrections on the scrolls that needed them then placed them back in the window for the Scribe Virgin to approve.
The next set were to be transcribed from the Scribe Virgin's dictation. Untying the ribbon from these scrolls, I laid them out. Picking up my quill and opening the sanguine ink, I began transcribing the words, copying them carefully in the Old Language.

When I had everything completed, I brought everything back to the appropriate places.
Coming back to my desk I realized I needed to go to my Chosen bowl. Picking up the bowl carefully, I rubbed my hands on the underside. The words began swirling until the scene became clear to me. It was the kidnapping of Zsadit and Rehvenge. I was able to see what happened to them and then also the scenes of the Brothers' fighting and their search for them. Of course I knew what happened with the females, as I was a part of it. But the Chosen bowl filled in the blanks. I saw when Rhage was shot in the stomach and I saw myself getting shot. I didn't feel it happening, probably due to the adrenaline pumping through my body at the time.

I set the bowl down on my desk and sat back down. With my quill, I dipped it into the ink and began writing out everything thing that had happened. The ink flowing smoothly, my mind going over the scenes carefully, not wanting to forget anything, I wrote out the whole week of happenings in the Old Language.
When it was complete, I read over if several times making sure I didn't forget anything and that I made no mistakes.
Rolling the scroll up, I tied it with ribbon and place it in the window for the Scribe Virgin.
Satisfied that I had done all that was required for the time being, and feeling 100% better, I checked my wound which was now completely healed, I left the Temple of Sequestered Scribes and returned to the courtyard.

Sitting down on the edge of the marble fountain once again, I watched the songbirds for awhile. They flitted from one branch to another, singing their soft songs. I thought the Scribe Virgin would appear from her Sanctuary, but she did not.
It was time from me to return to this side. I got up and looked around then calmed myself and dematted back to GC.
Materializing in the back of GC, I walked back to the patio and stopped to smell the flowers. Upon entering the sliding glass door, I found Phillipa once again in the kitchen with coffee brewing. The scent reminded me of this side and that I was once again home.
