Waiting on the shudders to come up for the day, he'd quietly gotten out of bed then gone to the TC. Though he was aware Bella wasn't sleeping as she normally did, when he'd woken she seemed deep under and he didn't want to disturb her. Nalla still slept hard, so he'd slipped out quietly.
Not a lot of built up aggression, still always felt damn good to beat then break a bag. Didn't matter much, they had some kind of endless supply stashed as far as he was concerned. After his last low swing kick he'd stabbed the thing a few times then smirked as it shifted from slayers to other personal demons he harbored and finally back to a now torn up, deflated sack of leather and sand.
Checking the clock on the wall, still early, decided to shower down there as no one was around.

Feeling the bed shift as Zsadist got up, she waited until she heard the click of the door closing before rolling over. A quick glance at the clock had her wondering where he was off to now? It was midday.
Letting out a breath, she ran a hand through her hair in frustration. Frustration that he seemed to be gone more than he was here lately and yet at the same time, oddly relieved to not have to pretend to sleep. Even for a little while. What was wrong with her?
With a glance over to the now empty side of the bed, she rolled over the other way onto her side staring at the shutters as if she could will them to rise for the night. Since she knew there would be no more sleep for her.

Out of the shower, checked his phone after drying off. Interesting not much was happening after so much had just recently. There was a text from his twin, to be returned later but otherwise? Eerily back to whatever normal was. Made his way through the tunnels, this time of day being so great for him at least as the chances of running into anyone but doggen were slim, the ladder he passed without a word in the kitchen.
Back up at his mated room, he opened and closed the door quietly so as not to wake anyone. Only to walk by the bed and sense Bella fully awake already. Her back to him, he sat down then smoothed his hand along her hair.
"Your up early. Did I disturb you?" Fingers at the ends of her long dark locks, played the strands between them.

She glanced over her shoulder then shook her head. "No, I just woke up." Not entirely true, but no sense in having him feel as if he woke her. Glad he was back and no longer needing to pretend or even try to sleep, she rolled over. Taking in his appearance and the smell soap, she asked. "Where did you go? The TC?"

Hand following her movements, was now cupping her face while staring down into her beautiful eyes.
"Yeah, figured I'd get an early workout in. You know I don't like a lot of others around if it's avoidable." Leaned down to kiss her, then straightened back up. "So, any plans for today?"
It was still quiet in the room, another unusual thing that he enjoyed immensely every now and again. That kind that made it hard to resist crawling back into bed with her then, well doing what ever they wanted while alone.

No, she didn't have any plans. But thought she better make some or she was going to drive herself crazy. "No, I don't have any plans. Maybe I'll see what the other shellans are up to." She smiled and leaned in to kiss him. "What about you? You have your workout out of the way. Do you have to patrol tonight?"

"Yeah, later though." Smoothed the back of his hand along her cheek, turning his head to look at her from another angle. "Did you want anything to eat? I've got... 'bout an hour."
Hated that he couldn't stay with her, even if it was just to watch her talk with the other females but no choice in the matter. Plus patrols were doubled up since the zombie attack, not a problem in that activity was particularly heavy. That had been the deal, they just spent all night looking, running ragged and never fighting. Least if they'd gotten something he wouldn't be home until just before the shudders rose.
Scribe he felt lucky Bella was so busy and really didn't need him around too much. Though, as the lamplight hit her face perfectly he wished he could just spend all his time watching her.

An hour? It seemed like he had just returned from last night's patrol. Then waking early to work out? She wanted to be able to tell him about how she had been feeling since she had visited the civilian male before he left the clinic. Yet, she didn't want to worry him. Either way, she didn't want to spend the one hour he had before patrol talking about all that. Pushing herself to sit up, she look over to meet those citrine eyes, smiling a little. "No, I'm not hungry." Leaning in, she brushed her lips across his. As much as she wanted to spend every minute with him until he left, she knew there was somebody else who probably missed him and needed him just as much. "Maybe, while your still here, I should go take a shower and get ready. Nalla will be waking up soon."

Hardly even got the chance to respond before she was up then walking to the bathroom, must have been in a hurry. She was right, he needed to spend some time with Nalla so he got up then went into her room to see if she was awake. Just as he opened the door their little Princess had rolled over then done that incredibly cute wake up yawn she did just before opening those stunning eyes.
Picked her up out of bed, even if she could well do so herself then kissed her little puffy cheeks. Whatever Nalla wanted she always got, this morning it was a fluffy dress and a couple of her favorite books read to her. Hence time flew by, he staying in her room playing and talking with her until it was time for patrol. Actually? Had to hurry as he'd lost track of time, Rhage texting bringing him out of Nalla land.
Quickly grabbed his weapons, double checking them all before kissing both Nalla and Bella then heading out. Least they didn't have to listen to Beasts banter for the next eight hours. Plus Bella's smile warmed him through and through, better than the heat out even at night. More like gave him the patience for yet another uneventful night downtown.
