midnightblackdagger.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=chardev&thread=339&page=1Cecilia ramped up her excitement, her voice was clashing with every noice in the room as she moved about the room. “ Jane, I get to see my mommy. You are going to help me see my mommy.” Sighing, she wasn't even sure her idea would work but the fact remained that she needed to have this closer for Hannah. Immediately she looked back towards where Vishous had stood before leaving the room and then closed her eyes. Cecilia, Cecilia damnit. ~I miss you Hannah.~ Keeping her eyes closed, she turned away from everyone and stood there facing the shelve of scientific books that lined the few shelves in their room. Slowly opening her eyes, she stared at the books. Everything there had reasoning behind it, ways to decipher the ins and outs, the whys and hows broke down and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt. Science she knew, but this was a matter of the heart. Pure and simple. Lifting her fingers to rub across the letters of V's name on her necklace. That always calmed her and helped her think. Walking past the doorway, she slowly walked through the Pits living room to stand in the kitchen, her hands placed on the counter, her back towards the open room. The girl followed her everywhere now, pleading on a constant level for her to tell her what she was thinking.

*walking from her mated rooms she had been going over some paper work from SafePlace and needed a break. Entering the kitchen she saw Jane standing staring out into space. Something was still on her mind, and she could bet it was the little girl she had stated she had seen.* Jane? Are you alright?

She was lost in thought, every time she tilted her head to the side, Cecilia was right there beside her giving her a look followed by her constant words of pleading.
Turning fully around as she heard Marissa, she offered a small smile "Hi Rissa, I was just thinking. I'm okay really."
Not a flat out lie, but still not the whole truth and she hated holding anything back from her. Running her fingers along the counter top.

*She arched her finely shaped brow and placed her hands on her hips, tilting her head* Don't lie to me, lady.
*Stepping forward she looked around the kitchen then back at Jane* You've been out of it the last couple of days. You think I didn't notice. So..let's hear it.

Now there it was, the strong stubborn streak that she had learned so well and she had to smile even more.
"Lifting her hand to her chin to tap her fingers "She, Cecilia is still here, still needing my help and I talked to Vishous but Rissa I can't say no to her."
Raising her head, she looked over at Cecilia who was now staring at Marissa then back to her she would walk. Repeating that single path between them.

"She has pretty blonde hair Jane and she is so tall like you. Is she like us? Is she gonna help me too?"
Shaking her head, she whispered "No she is not like us."
"Yes, she keeps staring at you." Looking up at Marissa, her eyes telling so much of the stress of what this whole situation was doing to her. She was never one to not be able to figure out the answer to a question, no matter how long it took. Yet this was just beyond her scope.

*She looked down and then past Jane, shaking her head she stared into her eyes for a moment.* Jane you need to let this go. Have you spoken with Vishious about your friend?

"Yes of course I have, and would you Marissa? What if it was Butch in my spot? Could you walk away then? Or tell him no you will not do whatever you could to help?"
She clamped down on her feeling, she never snipped at her family for no reason. What was going on with her? She needed to calm down. Walking through the kitchen, she moved to the couch and sat down, her hands on her knees, her eyes lowered.

*she followed her into the living room, knowing the stress was wearing her down* Honestly? Yes. If it were something he had no control over. Something that was causing him to make himself sick. I would definitely tell him to let it go. You are not the Scribe Virgin, nor this little ones maker. You have no control over how she is to spend her afterlife. *she sat on the arm of the sofa and looked down at her* Jane, I know it's hard but really....it is for the best.

Sighing "I know that really I do but just one way to help her say "I love you" to her mother again. That is all I want to give her."
Leaning back, she wrung her hands together and faded out and in due to her not concentrating.

*Sliding down the arm of the couch next to Jane, and hoping she didn't sit on the little girl, she glanced over at her* Well...perhaps you can speak to her mother.
*titling her head from one side to the other thinking of a way to present it to the young's mother* I saw a show on the television about mediums...humans who state they can speak with the dead. Perhaps you could tell her mother she has contacted you? *she smiled* You could tell her whatever the little one wanted you to.

That thought had popped into her head before but honestly how would someone take that, having a strange woman come to her saying ~hi you don't know me but I know your daughter who died years ago and she wants to talk to you.~
Thinking for a moment, she drew in her brows, the tip of her tongue protruding past her lips, in the corner and a small ache started in her chest.
Cecilia started to buzz around the room, like Nalla and Aggie did when they were hyper and really wanted their parents to let them do something. Turning to take Marissa's hands in hers. "I can do that. Would you go with us?"

She smiled then stood and released Rissa's hands. "Thank you."
Through all her talks with Cecilia, she knew where her mother lived, had lived just a few blocks away from the girls house actually so she knew the area was safe as well and after telling Marissa the address, she went and grabbed her cellphone from the bedroom just in case, noticing a text message from Vishous. Reading it she whispered "love you too and be careful" then decided to text it as well as add she was going to see Cecilia's mother. After hitting send, she looked over at Cecilia.
"You ready to talk to your mother?"
She went ecstatic and grabbed her hand although they never touched and they walked back into the living room and Marissa. Taking a deep breath, her hand going up to her chest to rub that ache that still lingered there and faded from the Pit to in front of the old eclectic house downtown.

*As Jane started to fade she dematerialized in behind her at the young's house. Remembering that Jane was fading from lack of concentration earlier she looked at her* Jane you have to concentrate, this will work and the little girl will be able to move on. *she hoped* I don't think it would go over well if I had to explain why you are a flickering image of a beautiful doctor. *she stared her down* You. Can. Do. This. and it will work. Now, smile. *she stood up straight and followed Jane to the door of the house*

Her nerves were coming to the fore front as she smoothed a fly away piece of hair back from her face. Smiling, she took a deep breath and looked over at Marissa then Cecilia. Lifting her hand, she knocked lightly on the door and waited for an answer.
The woman that answered the door was an older lady who looked like the world was on her shoulders. She gave them a faint smile "Hello."
"Hello, my name is Jane and this is my sister Marissa, it is a pleasure to meet you." Closing her eyes for a mere second, she felt the twinge of pain shoot through her.
The woman introduced herself "Hi Jane and Marissa, my name is Josephine. What can I help you with?"
Every ounce of her medical training did not teach her how to bring this subject up but she was never a quitter and she wouldn't start this night. Taking another deep breath, her eyes softened and she met the stare of Josephine "I wanted to speak to you about your daughter...Cecilia."
She waited for the door to slam in their faces but instead it widened more and a hand was ushering them inside. "My Cecilia, what do you know about her?" Stepping inside she made sure Marissa was with her and they took a seat on the couch. "She came to me. Said she missed and loved you and wanted to see you again."
"Its my mommy Jane, my mommy. Can I touch her Jane, can you let me touch her?"
This was harder than she thought and was at once becoming at a lose for words but she stayed strong.

*She looked back and forth between the mother and Jane then stepped forward* It is very nice to meet you Josephine. My sister, is a medium, someone who can communicate with ones who have passed unto the fa-, ones who have passed on. *she turned to Jane and gave her a look* Cecilia has come to her recently. She would like to use Jane to tell you some things.
*Smiling at Jane she looked at her with all the confidence in the world* Jane why don't you tell her some things you know about Cecilia, so Josephine knows we are being truthful.

midnightblackdagger.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=chardev&thread=343&page=1Took form about three houses away, on a corner then stopped. Something about the scene before him was all too familiar, though he could tell from what was being said Jane was nervous. Leaning against a street lamp he took out a hand roll but held up on lighting it. Marissa stood there as well, and damn if he didn't see that Mhis-like wavering in the air, though it seemed to move back and forth between the two females and a woman at a door. Crossing one shitkicker over the other, his zippo would be too loud. At least to him, as he could hear everything being said. Used his teeth to unsnap his glove then let the flair of Turkish meeting heat frame his features briefly before stilling again to watch and listen.

Wanting to take Josephine's hand in hers, she held back and looked around the room. It was as ornately decorated as the mansion was just in a less worldly manner.
"She loves the dress she is wearing, said it was her favorite because you and her picked it out the day you took her to the street fair and won her the teddy bear which ya'll bought matching dresses for."
The look she got at her words spilled the tears of the woman. "It..it...she never got to wear it before she.." the woman sat, her hands going up to cover her face. "Oh God, how I miss her. Is she here now with you?" She peeked through her splayed fingers.
"Yes she is. She is right here beside me." This was what it was all about. What she wanted to give both Cecilia and her mother. The one thing she herself wanted with Hannah. "I wish I could give you more Josephine."
She turned her attention to the door, if only for a moment and paused then back towards everyone else in the room.
"Oh my goodness Jane, please tell my mommy that I love her and that I miss her and that I am sorry that I left her but I'm always here with her."

*She sat and folded her hands in her lap, crossing her ankles. The feeling in the room seemed to change, it seemed to warm them. The look of love in that mother's eyes was priceless. As the tears started to pool she thought of how wonderful it was to be able to be a part of this*

Nodding she stood and went over to the window at the front of the room.
"She loves you, never forget that. She doesn't want you to ever forget that."
She couldn't handle any more. She had strength and lots of it and the look on Cecilia's mothers face was just the look that she wanted to remember forever. Tilting her head down and too the side to look at Cecilia, whom was sitting beside her mother, she felt that same ache again in her chest. Seemed to wrap around her heart and squeeze.
Out the window again she peered, the night surrounding everything as she once more turned from the window and met Marissa's eyes, her own telling her that it was all she could do for them.
Walking over to the woman, she bent at the knees and embraced the woman in a hug. Standing after a few moments she headed towards the door.

*Taking the pad of her thumb and wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes. She smiled at Jane and then Josephine. Turning back to Jane* Are you ready? *she leaned in a whispered* Do you think Cecilia is ready?
*As they reached the door she turned around and took Josephine's hands in hers* Thank you for this opportunity. We hope it brought you some peace. *and even more to Cecilia*

"You brought such peace to me, I Thank you both for everything. Tell her, tell my Cecilia that I am at peace and that I love her in this life and the next."
The sting of tears was building in her eyes yet she stayed strong. Strength was all she had at this moment. Gripping her hands together tight, she let them finally go loose as she opened the front door. "I hope so."
With Cecilia slowly trailing her as she opened the door, she looked out and across the street, she saw a shadow. Tilting her head to the side, she recognized his frame. That tall, thick frame of only one person in the world. His black hair cascading down around his face with only a dim glow from the street lamp shining around him. Her husband, her love.
Taking only a few steps forward, Her wall of strength broke as the flood of memories came swelling through her. She remembered everything. Tears fell down her face, the fog of knowing what she had to do, what Cecilia had to do, sinking deep. Uttering only five words through a ragged breath.
"We have to let go."

Lowered his gaze, hearing her whisper, then nodded once. Damn if this wasn't so much the same as what they had gone through, only flipped then landed on someone else. Smoke under his boot, he detached from the pole, staying where he was while Marissa kept that incredible composure she was known for.
Jane too, though he'd be ready to follow her for support in whatever she decided to do next. Even if the entire scene had his chest aching.

*Walking out the door and following Jane's line of sight she narrowed her eyes to focus and saw Vishous, placing an arm around her sister she leaned her head in* Let it out Jane, just let it go. It's ok.
*taking small strides with her toward her mate she felt a dull ache in her heart. She wanted her sister, friend, and confidant to be at peace. She wanted this young to be at peace. No one deserved to have things left unresolved, she could only imagine what a feeling it would be.

She felt herself returning to that one moment, that one moment that she realized how things had to be no matter how bad she wanted things to stay as they were.
As they made their way across the street, she simply lifted her hand to take his. One look on her face and into her eyes told him everything that she needed to say at the moment but had no words to speak them. Holding his gaze, his diamond eyes, her own blurred green ones, mixed in the glow.
Wiping away the solitary tear that lingered against her cheek with her free hand, she tore her attention from Vishous to look at Marissa. "Thank you, for tonight. For everything." Taking that one step over to hug her, she stepped back and turned back to V.
"I know what to do now."
She grasped for Cecilia, knowing she could not touch her yet still held her hand out towards her as she faded from where she stood and knowing that Vishous would be right behind her.

*Stepping back and watching Jane and Vishious clear the area, she looked up at the light above her and smiled.* Thank you Scribe Virgin, for all you do for us. We are truly blessed.

Having swallowed too many times to count while seeing the pain in Jane's eyes, he'd stayed composed enough to send a small nod to Marissa before Dematerializing after Jane. He reformed back where this had begun, then quickly wrapped his arms around his shellan's shoulders.
"So strong, always. Now would be your time to feel, all of it. I did, you can too, it's just us and your little girl love." Kissed her temple then slowly stepped back.
Hurt to think of those days again, though mostly behind them, fact still was. Jane had lost so much to be standing before him. Yeah, they had eternity so even after his extended life was over she could cross and still be with him. But they would never have a child, something he'd never believed possible for him anyway. All this time, The Bloodletter hadn't known his one wish would come true.
Only to continue his legacy of hurting females of worth. Damn. He ached for her, just so much.

In the arms of Vishous, she closed her eyes and let her arms wrap around him for that split second to let her emotions start to swirl around her as she opened them and walked up to the little girls grave then looked over at her own across the way. Motioning to Cecilia to follow her, they walked across the cemetery and stopped in front of the headstone that captured her name and knelt down. Looking over at Vishous, she waited until the child knelt beside her. "You know when I died, I was unwilling to let go of Vishous. I had just found him, found the love that we have for each other and I didn't want to lose that. It was the second time in my life that I had to lose someone that I loved. I have a sister that left me when I was young and just like you, she had a weak heart on the outside but was just so strong on the inside. I never got the chance to tell her goodbye, never got the chance to tell her I love her like you just did with your mother." She reached over and placed her hand on top of Cecilias, who had her palms flattened against the grass. With a hint of a genuine smile on her face, she felt the small shiver of a connection between the two of them. " I don't want to leave her Jane. She is all I have and I am all she has." "I know you don't but your mother is happy Cecilia. Not as much as she would be if you was still here with her but she is at peace knowing that you are at peace. You have to give her that. Its all she wants, all she has ever wanted was for you to be at peace." Feeling the tears start back up, she realized that that is all Hannah would want. For her to be happy and at peace with every path her life has taken. She shuttered as it all came swarming to her. No holding back any longer so... She cried. Cried like she had never cried before as her eyes swam with tears. "We have to let go Cecilia. Let go of the pain, the hurt, the inability to change the things that were never in our hands in the first place. Let go Cecilia." Pushing up off the ground, she felt Cecilias hand in hers although she ultimately knew it wasn't and they stood. Meeting the deepest of blue eyes, the blur filling her own, she felt her form, not her form but the form of Cecilia lift from the ground. "Thank you Jane, Thank you." With a ragged breath, she let go of Cecilia, of Hannah, of her past and brought her other hand out from her body as she let the wind pick up the small amount of dirt from her palm, carrying it along with her past and Cecilia to the very heavens as she turned to face Vishous who was her present and her forever future. youtu.be/Kzdekl3Qj8c
