After returning to the Mansion with the box containing a Magdehlena Rempoon's seeing bowl I received from Rehvenge and Ehlena, I placed the box on the table in my room.
Being a little too close to dawn, I changed into my sleepshirt and after calling down to the kitchen, I had one of the doggen bring me up a turkey, ham and cheese sandwich and coffee. While I ate, I watched TV and finally fell asleep.

Upon waking the next afternoon, I knew that I had to go to the Other Side to return the seeing bowl. I needed to see Amalya, the Directrix and as such I had to prepare myself appropriately.
I called downstairs for coffee and blueberry muffins before stepping into the bathroom.
Turning on the water for a shower, I took off my nightshirt and put it in the chute for the laundry while waiting for the water to heat. Taking out a white fluffy towel, I placed it on the vanity and stepped under the hot spray.

Reaching for the magnolia scented shampoo, I washed and rinsed my hair. Then proceeded to use the same scented conditioner and then the body wash. The suds slid down my body like a soft caress. Rinsing my hair and body, I stepped from the shower and wrapped the towel around my body as I reached for another to towel dry my hair.
Sitting down at the vanity, I blew dry my hair and braided it. Winding my braid on top of my head in the traditional manner, I stepped into my bedroom and donned my robes. Glad it was summer, I left my feet bare as I usually do to go to the Other Side.

Sending a text to Phury, I left this message. <txt> I'm going to the Other Side to return Magdehlena Rempoon's seeing bowl to Amalya. I'll be gone just one day. <send txt>
My coffee and blueberry muffins were waiting on the table next to the box. I sat down and had my First Meal.
Leaving my room at the Mansion, with the box containing the seeing bowl, I descended the Grand Staircase and walked through the foyer, looking down at the apple tree on the floor. I stepped across the cold marble and out the front door.

Once outside, I walked around to the side of the Mansion to the rose garden. The sweet smell of roses in the balmy night air made me smile. The breeze was slight and the moon was full.
I dematted to the Other Side arriving in the pristine white courtyard. The fountain trickled and the songbirds were singing. I didn't want to chance something happening to the seeing bowl, so I didn't tarry in the courtyard.

Walking across the lawn toward the Scribe Virgin's Sanctuary, I met Amalya before reaching her private rooms.
"Sister Amalya, I have something for you. May we proceed to your quarters?"
"Of course Sister, how fare thee?"

"I'm faring well, thank you and you?"
"I'm faring well also. What have you brought me?" She asked upon seeing the box in my hands. We walked to her quarters and entered, going to the room that was used for meetings.
"May I sit?"
"Of course Sister."

Placing the box on the couch beside me, I opened it and took out the seeing bowl.
Her eyes opened widely and she misunderstood my meaning.
"Don't fret so Sister. This is not mine. I'm not releasing my bowl. This bowl belonged to Sister Magdehlena Rempoon. She has gone unto the Fade. Her son Rehvenge gave it to me and asked that I return it to you. It was to be given to a Chosen to use in her stead."
Handing the bowl to Amalya, she placed it on the table. Sitting down next to me, she grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
"Thank you Selena for returning it, though it would not have been necessary if the Family would have liked to keep it to remember her by."

"I thought the same thing but Rehvenge and Ehlena insisted I return it."
"Very well, thank you again, Sister. Will you be staying long?"
"No, I just wanted to make the return as soon as possible." Standing, I hugged her tightly before leaving and going back to the courtyard. I watched the songbirds for a few moments before dematting back to the Mansion.
