After watching Vishous and then Payne head out, she had a feeling that V and Butch would be getting an unexpected companion out on patrol tonight. She knew he would take extra precaution with her with him but it still never calmed her anymore then anyone else leaving the mansion to patrol.
Sighed and faded out of the gym into the main foyer of the mansion. The hustle and bustle of the doggen cleaning up after First Meal and getting ready for the next. No way was she heading back to her office so she strolled around for a minute thinking about what she could get into around here.
Smiling, she headed off upstairs to the HUGE library. It was a love of hers to get lost in there.

"Shhh, baby, shhh. It's okay. Mom--Mahmen's here" she repeated those words endlessly while she rocked Wellsie in her arms, but it made no change.
Her daughter wouldn't stop crying. And she was worried to death. Was she sick? Was she dying? Oh, Jesus, she was dying, wasn't she? Where was Rhage?
God. God. God.
She couldn't take it anymore. She just couldn't.
With her baby still in her arms, she walked outside and toward Jane and Vishous' mated bedroom.
Please be there, please.
But she wasn't. Fuck!
"Calm down, baby. Please, don't cry" she mumbled as she kept looking for Jane. The Library? Yes, there!
"Jane? Jane? ARE YOU THERE?"

She was thumbing through the shelf of medical books when she spun around as a frantic voice caught her off guard.
"Mary, whats wrong?"
Walking quickly across the room, Wellsie held in her arms so she kept her voice semi low and calm.

"Jane! Oh, thank god" she breathed out, relieved. "My daughter's dying! Do something, please!"

Looked down at Wellsie who was crying and looked restless but otherwise okay. Attention back up to Mary and placed her hand on her arm.
"She's not dying, lets head to the clinic so we can check on her and on the way tell me what her symptoms are okay."
Smoothed her other hand down Wellsies little cheek as she snuggled more into her mahmens arms. Her color was good but she did feel a little warm.

"I'm telling you, Jane, she's dying! Oh, god. I'm such a terrible mother" she said at the edge of tears. Following Jane, she wrapped her arms a little tighter around her sweet Wellsie's little body.

"Stop that, you are a wonderful mother."
Walking they made it to the clinics exam room in record time. Pulling out her stethoscope from her jacket pocket, she warmed the end between her hands then placed one side in her ears and the stepped up to Mary and Wellsie with the other end in hand.
"More than likely she has caught a simple cold" noting Wellsie's little cute nose and how it was running a muck slightly. "Mind if I listen to her and take a few vitals?"

"No, please do it"
A little calmer, she watched her baby girl as Jane did her doctor-ish stuff.
"I panicked a little, didn't I?"

Had to grin as Wellsie tried to grab ahold of the stethoscope's end but she kept control and slid her own finger into Wellsies to sidetrack her and wiggled her fingers about. Placing the end against her chest and listened intensely. Babies were harder to hear sometimes because you couldn't ask then to calm down and be quiet for you.
Listening for a minute, through the hushed down cries, then repeated the process against her back, she stepped back and nodded her head.
"Who wouldn't. She's your child, you always want her in perfect health." She moved around them both and checked her ears and nose then her itty bitty legs and arms.

She never thought she would be one of those mothers who panicked but apparently, she was. Always calm Mary was the biggest freaker in the world where Wellsie was concerned.
She bit her lip and looked at Jane. "So... what is it?"

"As I suspected" cooing at Wellsie before stepping away.
"She has a cold. Little bit of mucus build up so she will be fussy until we can get it broken up.Everything else looks great on her. She will run a slight fever but thats expected as her body tries to fight it off."
Walks over to one of the medicine cabinets and rummages through it for a second then pulls out a small bottle of infant tylenol and turns to hand it to Mary. Glad she keeps the stuff on hand just in case.
"Give her one half a syringe full every 6 to 8 hours and in a day or two she will be back to normal happy self."

"A cold?" she asked, feeling completely dumb. "Oh... a cold, thank god!" she kissed Wellsie's head relieved. "Jane... I love you!" she gave the blond woman a huge smile. "Seriously!"
She memorized the instructions, determined to not screw it. Her baby girl would recover as soon as possible.

Smiled softy and hugged Mary. "She will be just fine and so will you. Love you too and that sweet adorable Wellsie also." Leaned down to kiss the little one's cheek.
"Call me if even she giggles wrong and I'll be there."
Started to clean up the exam room a little but not really necessary as wasn't really dirty so they headed out and back towards the mansion.
