After speaking with Vishous about making daggers for me, I left the Mansion and dematted back to Grand Camp to find Phury. Entering from the back patio, I called out to him.
"PHURY ARE YOU HOME?"
Hoping he heard me I went in search of him in the kitchen first. I ran into Phillipa and she said that he may be upstairs in the drawing room.

Had just settled into his chair and pulled his quill pen free from its holder to draw and gain some perspective when he heard Selena call out for him.
"I am up in the Drawing room, please come in." he called out.
Most of the time, he preferred to stay uninterupted while he relaxed like this but the Chosens voice seemed filled with urgency. Turned his head and gave a curt bow of his head. "Is everything alright?" spoke as he leaned back in the chair.

Hearing Phury's voice from the drawing room, I raced up the steps to the end of the hall.
"Phury there you are. I have something I'd like to ask you. After dispatching the guard at the Blood Slave auction, I was wondering..... well I've had nightmares about that situation and um..... can I have Vishous make me a pair of daggers and you teach me how to them properly? I asked Vishous and he said if I get your permission he'd do it for me...... so can I?"
Realizing I was rambling on, I stopped to take a breath. I couldn't keep still, shifting from one foot to the other.

Dropped his head as his eyes closed and sat his pen back in its holder. The breath he expelled wasn't a relieved one of any accord. He had fully expected this day to come but it was not one he looked forward too.
"Nightmares? What you all witnessed was something I never wished for you but I have to say that I'm not comfortable with the idea of the Chosen carrying weapons. It is a fear of mine that it will bring more danger to you all."

"I wouldn't be carrying them around the house and such. I just think that after what happened, I would feel better knowing I could defend myself if the need ever arose. If I was out with one of the doggen and we were attacked by Lessers, I would be able to defend myself and maybe save the life of the doggen with me to. I'm willing to take lessons."
Babbling on, I hope that ,my reasoning is enough. I'm not afraid per se, I just think it is something I would need to learn anyway.

Knew he couldn't tell her no as was the way any of them come to him with requests. Plus Mia would have his head for not allowing them full access to training. Stood from his chair and walked over to Selena and took her hand in his. She was correct in the aspect of her being to protect herself as well as any of the others and he couldn't always be with them.
"Lessons indeed Selena as will I want Vishous to come to me first with the daggers." Closed his eyes and took a sharp intake of breath in. "Your safety as well the rest of mine family is whats truly important so yes I give you mine permission."

Excitedly jumped into his arms. I wasn't sure he would allow this. It was a big step for me and also for him. This proved to me that with proper training, he trusted me.
"Thank you Phury, I can barely wait to start training. I'll let Vishous know right away so he can start on them."
Phury is always so very kind to all the Chosen. He is the best male I know.
