It was late on Friday night, everyone in the Mansion had things to do and I was looking for something to do. Not having anything too exciting in mind, I went down to the kitchen. The coffee was fresh and I poured myself a cup. Taking a cook book down from the shelf, I was thinking of doing something for the young at Safe Place.

Finding an idea, the young always loved ice cream. I decided on trying to make the ice cream sandwiches in the book. Going to the pantry, I found the container of fresh made chocolate cookies that the doggen had made. Bringing the container to the counter island, I opened it and went to the freezer. Taking out the vanilla ice cream and getting the scoop, I brought them to the counter as well.

Sipping my coffee, I went and got several cookie sheets and placed them side by side on the counter. I lined each of the pans with chocolate chip cookies. Placing a scoop of ice cream on each one, I covered them each with another cookie and pressed them down, flattening them just a bit til the ice cream was evenly pressed between the cookies.

Going back to the pantry, I found the black and orange candy sprinkles and grabbed a plate. Pouring the sprinkles on the plate, I took each ice cream sandwich and rolled the edges in the sprinkles, making perfect ice cream sandwiches for the young. After covering each tray with waxed paper, I slid them back into the freezer to harden with plans to have Marissa bring them to Safe Place.

After putting the ice cream away, I refilled my coffee cup and went back upstairs to my room. I turned on the TV as I thumbed through the cookbook to look for other ideas for the young.
