Walking off the plane, bags in hand, she breathed in the cool, crisp fall air of the Colorado mountains. She turned to smile at John Matthew, grateful they were finally here. Until they took off from New York, she'd been expecting to get a call telling them to return. Now, they were far away for a few days. And they had that all to themselves.
A car waited for them and their bags were loaded quickly in and they were off. Marissa and the family that owned the cabin they were using really had thought of everything. Again grateful, she leaned back in the seat and took John's hand. "I usually don't care about houses or the way they look, but I am actually looking forward to seeing this cabin."

He smiled and took her hand giving a light kiss on the knuckles. He nodded. He was very excited. They were going to use this vacation to start a new. Pulling his hand away he squeezed her knee and signed. I am as well. Very excited. I'm looking forward to other things as well
he wagged his brows and smiled.

She laughed and watched the scenery go by out the window of the car. "We're not here to hike, so I guess we'll have to find something to fill our time." She remembered their one condition for coming on the trip and sighed. "We'll have to call Tohr first, before we do anything else, when we get there."

He took a breath and rolled his eyes, made a talking motion with his hand to mimic Tohrment, blah blah blah
Staring out the window he thought it was amazing to be out in the world with his shellan. No Qhuinn no Blay, no...no one. Just him and Xhex.
They turned a corner and started up a winding road, obviously toward their cabin. As he looked out the window he could see the lights in the town below. This week was going to be perfect.

They pulled up the long drive and stopped in front of a pretty cabin. They could see around the house that the back was on stilts at the top of a hill overlooking a pretty river. Smiling, they unloaded their bags from the car and John pulled the key from his pocket. Opening the door, they saw that there were some lights on inside and the cabin had been readied for them. The whole back wall was windows and she went right to them, looking out over the river. "Wow, this is better than I expected." The inside was open and had comfortable furniture. She opened the door onto the deck and left if open, letting in the cool night air. Stepping out, she listened to the sounds of the water and the forest. Absolute peace.  |

He immediately began to check surroundings and locks on the doors. Watching Xhex out of the corner of her eye he smiled. Once finished with the perimeter check he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder and kissed the side of her neck.
Holding his hands out in front of her he signed, I love you and this is perfect

She turned in his arms and smiled up at him. "It is perfect, isn't it?" She kissed him softly and pulled back. "I love you, too. I think Tohr's phone call can wait a little while, don't you?" She leaned up to kiss him again, too happy with the peace and quiet to care about anything but this at the moment.

He nodded and cupped her face in his hands. Pressing his lips to hers he closed his eyes and savored the feel. Letting his fingers lace into her hair he slid his tongue against the seam of her lips, she opened for him, his tongue darted in and he pulled her closer. Yes, Tohrment's phone call could wait for sure.

She sighed into him and wrapped her arms around his waist. Sliding her tongue against his, she pressed against him and ran her hands up his back, gripping tight. "We don't waste any time on vacation, do we?" She pulled away and took his hand, leading him inside, leaving the door open. In the bedroom, she left the lights off and turned to him, peeling her coat off.

Watching her take off her coat he got a wicked gleam in his eyes as he toed off his boots and pulled his shirt over his head, he walked over to the edge of the bed and sat down. He looked at her,

She raised an eyebrow at him, but her lips curved. Her eyes on his, she kicked her boots off and then pulled her black shirt over her head. Taking a step closer to him, she unbuttoned her pants and slid them over her hips, stepping out of them when they hit the floor. That last step forward put her right in front of him and she reached out to run a finger from his shoulder and down his chest. "Any other demands while you're at it?"

Reaching up he grabbed her wrist and kissed the tip of her finger, then nipped it with one of his fangs. Wrapped the other arm around her waist and pulled and arched his neck to capture one of her beautiful nipples in his mouth. He laved around it and sucked it in and let it go with a pop.
Reaching down he started to undo his pants and slid out of them. Kicking them to the floor, he pulled her to him and flipped her over onto the bed. Settling himself over her he gave her a wicked grin.

She smiled back up at him and reached up, winding her fingers in his hair and pulled him down to mesh his mouth with hers. Tongues tangling, she arched against him, urging him to touch her, to run his hands all over her. She groaned against his mouth at the taste of him. Her hands moved down his back, nails scraping gently, causing shivers of pleasure to ripple through him.

He felt the shivers down his spine and he thrust inside her with one strong stroke. Pulling back he entered her again reveling in the look on her face, he could watch her for hours as he took her.
