With only 2 days left to research the families, I dressed in my robes and left out for the Other Side. I wasn't sure if my IPad would work but I took it and a notebook and pen with me in a bag.
Dematting to the Other Side, I came into the courtyard. I didn't want to waste time lollygagging with the birds so I waved to them and started off to the Temple of Books.

Walking through the giant double doors, I stopped and put my things down and began looking for the names of the families. I knew some would be Glymera and others just normal vampires if vampires could be considered normal.
Deciding to look for them in alphabetical order, since the volumes were alphabetized and then chronicled by years, I finally came across Dhark. Taking the volume back to the table, I took out my IPad and just as I suspected, it didn't work here. Sighing I knew it was going to take longer to make notes and then have to go back and then transcribe them, but what was I worried about? I'd transcribed for hundreds of years.

Opening the first volume, the family went back hundreds of years. Each of the volumes had the families divided by sire and the year. There was a hand drawn picture of him and then the particulars, who sired him and his mahmen, height, weight and distinguishing marks. Then the stories began rolling out. I sat reading for what seemed like hours, making notes as I read.
I continued on with each name, Fhear, Khaos, Mahlice and Mayhem. Three of the five names were members of the Glymera. I thought that they would probably be the easiest of the males to train in the ways of etiquette.

Getting the information I came for, several hours later, I was satisfied with what I had gathered. Taking all the volumes back and reshelving them, I got my things together and went back to the courtyard.
The Chosen that were left on this side were just going to vespers and I was tempted to go with them. But with the work I still needed to do, I decided against it. I'd come back and spend the day with the females another time.

Dematting back to the Mansion lawn, I waited to be admitted and went to the kitchen. I'd be locked in my room for several hours and needed to bring up some food and coffee with me. The doggen made me a turkey and cheese sandwich and a carafe of coffee. He got me a Pepsi and some chips and a blueberry muffin. The tray was full and he insisted on carrying it up for me.
At my room I opened the door and he placed the tray on my table. Thanking him he bowed and left me to my transcribing of the notes I'd taken on the Other Side.
