The sound of the dry leaves under his feet as he walked thru the forest was just yet another reminder that the year was almost done. He had told his guard to let me walk in peace. He needed to just be alone.
Funny thing was he never was really alone. He could still feel them all plugged into him waiting with baited fear of what he would command him to do.
When he was away from Psycho central and with the Brotherhood. He was not alone. He could read each and everyone of them even if it as not as strong thru the haze of his beloved dopamine they where still there.
When he was at the Mask the cattle that where the humans and all thru deep dark needs to the forefront. There was also Trez, Xhex, and IAm. His three closest friends who never judged and let him do what needed to be done.
But the one time he never wanted to be alone was when he was with his shellan or with his sister and her young. They made this shit that was his life seem some what tolerable.
Hearing a twig snap his eyes shot up from where he had been looking and out in the distance through all the trees and their colors was a stag. Proud and mighty as if he was doing the same thing Rehv was doing.
Trying to find some solace.
