She woke up to find herself laying down, and Calixta and Xhex speaking quietly, and was glad to find that Calixta was warming up to her daughter, slowly, though surely.
Yawning, she stretched, and sat up, smoothing her hair, then taking it down to comb her fingers through and rebraid it.
She sighed, and looked at them again. "How fare thee both, this eve? Did you sleep well?"

She could hear when Autumn woke and began moving, looking over when her mahmen spoke. "I slept well, but I don't believe that Calixta slept much at all. How about you, mahmen?" She and Calixta had been discussing Rhudd's habits and routine. It was a way to find out information that could be vital to getting out of here and would help make Calixta more comfortable with her.

She nodded, gladly noting a spark of hope in Calixta's green eyes, that had not quite been there before. "I slept fairly well. I'm sorry you did not, though, Calixta."
She tied her hair off and straightened her sweater and sighed looked around, and folding her legs beneath her. "So, have you two come up with anything? You looked as if you were in deep discussion." Gave a little smile.

"We were just discussing Rhudd's habits. I need to get a gauge on the male since I can't use my other side to get any hints. Its coming up on midnight, so he should be returning from the clinic for his lunch break. That means we'll be seeing him soon." Calixta tensed at the reminder that her male would be home soon and seemed to withdraw back into herself. Too bad, but it couldn't be helped...yet.

She nodded, then went and sat on Calixta's other side. "Be at ease. This shall pass soon, I am sure of it." Gently placed a hand on her arm, and smiled reassuringly.
Looking around, she wished she'd still had her dagger, but it had been lost in their capture. But she took satisfaction in having shed his blood with it before its loss. Not a large amount, unfortunately, but enough to make her feel a little better.
"Is there anything else hidden in this room that could be utilized as a weapon?"

Frowning, she looked around the room as well. "We can make almost anything into a weapon, but there isn't much in here." She eyed Calixta's chair. It was a upholstered ugly thing with hardly any stuffing, but it could be helpful. There was a footrest in the chair, which mean metal and inner workings. "Hmmm, Calixta, are you attached to this chair?"

Calixta frowned looking down at it, brushing a hand along the armrest, and Autumn could almost see in her eyes all the times the female had taken comfort from the unattractive but ever comfortable old piece. "Well, yes, but..."
Then the penny dropped and she looked at them, frowning deeper, and sighed, nodding her head, and looked at it as if already silently saying her goodbyes to it, telling it it had served her well. But might soon serve her better still. "If it means my freedom, make of it what you can."

She wanted to say nevermind, she'd figure something else out, but resisted. This was the first major step in letting go of the life she was used to. No matter how much Calixta was being hurt, it was the life she knew and it wasn't going to be easy for her to leave. Nodding once, she moved to the chair and flipped it over. The beauty of this was that Rhudd wouldn't see whatever they took from the chair. Reaching in, she pulled a couple of nearly rusting metal poles from the innards of the chair. "There, these could be helpful." She handed one to Autumn. "Just like your dagger."

"Thank you." She took the pole and placed a hand on Calixta. "And thank you." But the female shook her head and gave a hesitant smile.
"It's been a good chair, but it's for a good cause, if there ever was one. This is more important than sentimental furniture. And really, before it became so comfortable, I only kept and used it because Rhudd hated it, which only made me beg more to keep it, and he ended up being too lazy to bother getting rid of it." Gave a little grin.

Smiling at Calixta, she turned the chair back over. "See, you were fighting back in your own way. Its a good start. Now, don't sit in this chair, it might collapse and give us away." She sat back and leaned against the wall. "Calixta, tell us about your family."

He was beyond worried. Had escalated past panic hours ago. Had paced the mansion and all but barked at Fritz when the doggen had tried to offer him food, or drink. The Brothers had tried to calm him and they were lucky they didn't have a blade handle to be their new decoration. Blade side in.
They were all searching the city. Ordered by him yelling to check every single family that had come to Safe Place. Discreetly.
Now he paced in front of the Manse, as each one checked in, letting him know they hadn't found anything. Each chirp on his phone just escalated his rage. Payne had just showed up from checking the further outskirts when he looked up to see Rehv's Bentley pull up. Letting a growl rumble out, pointed to the Sin Eater as soon as he exited the vehicle.
"I do not, have time for you right now. Unless you can tell me where I might find Autumn and Xhex? Otherwise, get your fucking pimp coat ass out of here."
He continued to pace and another call came, again, with no news.

He would have tisked at Tohr but he knew all to well the feeling of not knowing where his beloved shellan was. Thankfully those he ruled would never make the same mistake twice.
"I have some information. And it's former Pimp." He took a piece of paper from his coat and gave it to him.
"Everything you need to know is on there."

She stood slightly behind Tohrment and rolled her eyes at Rehvenge's words. She crossed her arms waiting for Tohrment to read the paper.

She watched Calixta's face soften at the mention of her family, whom she clearly missed, terribly. She remembered that feeling, still felt it on occasion.
The female leaned back against the wall, too, and played with a loose thread at the hem of her sweater, a hint of a smile lurking somewhere in her expression. "My mahmen is very proper, but sweet, and affectionate. And a little exasperated with her tomboy of a daughter." Grinned. "As well as her hellren and son, who encouraged it, thwarting at least half of her attempts to feminize me. But she took it in stride, and with good humor. She's a curator, my father an architect." She tilted her head and smiled. "So I guess it was little surprise to them when my brother went into photography, and I went into art, painting and such. They were the best." She sighed. "That's not to say we didn't fight. We did, quite a lot sometimes. But," shrugged, "not much more than most families. And our parents taught us to be respectful, even in anger. Especially since my brother and I turned out to be hotheads...believe it or not, I was worse than him." Laughed softly, wrapping her arms around herself.

She smiled at how relaxed Calixta was discussing her family. It passed the time and kept her calm and distracted. They didn't need a panicking female on top of their other problems right now. "They sound like a family of worth. It must have been a nice way to grow up. Is your brother older or younger than you?"

He looked at the paper and then snapped his eyes up to Rehv's. "Take me now." He didn't even wait for the answer as he climbed into the Benz. He could demat there, but since he needed to call and round up everyone, and to be honest, as upset as he was? He would end up in the wilderness. Even now, the air around him frosting with emotion.
"Come on Sin Eater, doesn't that cane move any faster??"

Not one for taking such an attitude he cut Tohr some slack as he started the ignition, put the coordination in his GPS as Payne got into the back seat.
"Yesa Mr. Daisy. Right away Mr. Daisy." He quipped as they drove off.

Calixta smirked, an expression Autumn had had yet to see upon the female's face up to now. "Older, and never failed to let me know it. Larger as well, needless to say. But as protective of me as he was anything else, if not more. He took his status as the second oldest male of the house, and the oldest young, very seriously. To the point where I had a hard time getting a date, as most males feared him. He grew to be twice the size of our father."
She laughed, then went silent for a moment. "I've worried so much about him." She looked up at them, smiling sadly. "He was also my best friend."

She shared a sympathetic look with Autumn and then patted Calixta's shoulder awkwardly. "You'll find them, I'm sure of it." Then she heard a muffled slam...the front door. "Show time, ladies."

There could have been a dozen ways he could have planned. Rehv and Payne even tried to suggest a few. But as soon as the car parked on the street, he was out of it and running for the front door.
Then before they could suggest perhaps knocking, he reared back a shit kicker and kicked the front door in, shattering the hinges and sending it flying inside.
His eyes snapped around the scene, and his shellan's scent hit him like a beckon and he roared out her name, stalking forward, solely focused on getting to her.
Perhaps some suggestions would have been needed as a chair was swung out, clipping him in the mug and sending him off his feet to fall on his back.
Big fucking mistake and he was flipping up on his feet, yanking the chair out of the male's hand and throwing it with a primal snarl. "You never, fuck with a male's shellan. And you never, ever piss off a Brother."

She followed after Tohrment a glock in her hand. She paused just inside the broken in door and just raised a brow. She leaned against the jam and decided to just watch. Shaking her head, "You sure you need me here?"

She raised a brow at the muffled ruckus...as well as a faint growl she would know anywhere, and relaxed. "I believe the...what is that phrase...cavalry, has arrived?" Exchanged a glance with Xhex, then looked at Calixta only to find her shaking in terror, and gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Do not be afraid. The roar you do not recognize is mine hellren, and he would not hurt a fly."
Paused, eyeing the door as something large banged against it. "Well, that is, he would not hurt an innocent one. But I know not what condition we shall find find your brute of a hellren in." Holding the female's hand, she reached the other one out to squeeze Xhex's shoulder, then muttered softly, "especially once he sees his...handiwork."

Relieved that Tohr had found them, she still was ready for anything. She positioned herself in the middle of the room, Autumn and Calixta behind her. Holding the metal rod from the chair at the ready, she waited, just in case it was Rhudd that came through that door. "Be ready. We're pretty sure we know what's happening down there, but you never know what may happen."

Using the male as a kick ball, was probably not one of the suggestions. But as he stated before, he hadn't taken any, so this might had been one. Tossing the male, who was now bruised and blathering and yet still trying to fight to Payne, he braced his hands on the door and in a voice laced with violence and yet hope at the same time. "Leelan? Xhex? Are you in there?"
He glanced back at Payne, "Go see if that male can be folded to fit in the trunk of Rehv's car. If not? Fold something painful to ensure he does."

She laughed and then looked at the man who she held within her hands. He started to struggle and she grabbed hold of his arm tightly and pulled him a long. She dragged him out to the car. Not really caring that he was struggling and fighting her. She knocked him over the head and then literally dragged him to the car. She looked at Rehv and told him to pop the trunk. She had no probably sticking him in the trunk. Good place for him. She tossed him in there and rearranged him so he fit.
Slamming the trunk closed she leaned against the car and waited for Tohr to bring the women out.

She let out a breath, then went to the door, though still holding the rod in her hand as she yelled, "Yes. nallum, but unable to dematerialize!" She looked at Calixta. "I do not suppose you know how this door works?" Raised her brows, semi-hopefully.

Calixta wrung her hands together nervously and nodded. "Rhudd has keys for the deadbolts hanging in the kitchen, by the door. That would be the fastest way to get in." She was still tensed for whatever as Autumn relayed the information to Tohr on the other side of the door. Looking over her shoulder, she gave Calixta a reassuring smile and then turned back to watch the door.

Her voice was all he needed to hear. Saying loudy "Step back leelan." He waited then he stepped back and kicked the door. It didn't budge. Fangs literally humming with the adrenaline of both anger and need to see his shellan, he snarled and slammed his shoulder against the door. It budged.
He slammed against it again and it gave. He did a spin kick and the lock burst. He reached out and pushed it open and then smiled, "We don't need no stinking key."
Held his arms out to Autumn.

She snickered when she heard from outside the house that Tohrment had busted another door in. With a grin she looked over at Rehv then shrugged. She heard some banging from the trunk and hit it. "Quiet."
