Sweat dripping off her, she pounded her fists into the punching bag. Working on some kick boxing moves, she stepped back to take a shot with her leg, sending the bag swinging. As it came back to her, she raised her fist and slammed it into the bag. Nothing cured guilt and self-loathing better than beating on something. She was still annoyed with herself for walking into a trap unprepared and getting Autumn and herself held hostage. She didn't make mistakes like that. Ever. Growling, she threw another fist and sent the bag swinging away from her.

She made her way to the training center, she was off rotation for the night and she and Manny were still at odds. She reached a hand up to rub at her brow as she walked into the center hearing the banging. She watched as Xhex mutilated the punching bag.
"Xhex.." She said as she watched the woman increase her furry on the bag waiting for the other woman to acknowledged her presence.

Throwing one more punch, she straightened and turned to look at the other female. "Hello, Payne. How are you this eve?" Walking to the bench nearby, she picked up a towel and wiped at the sweat on her brow and face.

When Xhex stopped and moved towards the bench she moved as well. "Fine, I suppose. And you Xhex? How do you fare?" She moved away for a moment and came back with a water bottle and handed it over to her.

She took the bottle and screwed off the cap, taking a long drink. "Thanks, P. I'm working out some frustration tonight. It hasn't been a good week, which I'm sure you are aware of." She took another drink from the bottle and shook her head.

She nodded, "I do know.." she was well aware of it all. "Trust me when I can say, I concur." She looked over at the mat then glanced at Xhex, "Perhaps you would prefer a more lively training partner then the bag?"

Following Payne's gaze, she raised a brow. "You want to spar with me?" Payne nodded, so she smiled and finished off her bottle of water. Wiping her hands on the towel, she nodded. "Alright, that might actually help more than beating on an inanimate object." Leading Payne out to the mat, she turned to face her opponent. "Ready when you are, sister."

She laughed and went out on to the mat with Xhex. She looked at the woman for a moment then rolled her shoulders. She did not know about her but this was exactly the time of outlet she needed at the moment.
She smiled at the Xhex, "Ready."She then moved in for the first strike.

Payne's first strike was easy to block, but the second was quick and caught her in the jaw. Stepping back, she kicked a leg out and brought Payne down to the mat, but she was up within seconds. She went after the other female, striking out with each hand, one after the other. Payne easily blocked with her forearms, but had to keep moving backwards in retreat. She faked a left and got Payne in the chest with her right. Smiling, she stepped back. "Feeling better already."

She took the hit with a small grunt then started to work Xhex back. "Oh. Very much so, you?" She grinned as she got Xhex back on the defense. She did a quick double kick. The first was blocked easily but when the same leg came in for another kick she managed to snip Xhex in the leg.
With a ghost of a smile she rocked back. This was exactly what she needed. No arguing. No worries. No give a fucks.
Then without further ado she went back on the attack.

It was nice to spar with another female on the same level as her. She enjoyed sparring with the males, but they tended to take it easy on her, though they knew they didn't have to. Teaching her mahmen and the other females to fight was interesting as well, but she had to pay too much attention to correcting the way they did things. With Payne, she knew she would get as good as she gave and she didn't have to worry about instructing her. Taking the hit in the leg, she straightened and met Payne in her next attack. She blocked the punch coming from the right and lifted her leg to block the kick Payne aimed at her. Her foot caught Payne's leg and she kicked up, sending Payne to the mats on her back.

She stayed sprawled on the floor for a moment before jumping back to her feet and getting back into the action. "You know Xhex.." She dodged one of Xhex's punches. "After the New Year you should join me one day.. training the recruits." She dodged another then sent a right hook hurtling towards Xhex. "Be good for them. They still curse that they are being trained by me."

She blocked and then threw another one, two punch. "Alright. I'll come by one day." She blocked another assault from Payne's fists and then ducked, moving around behind Payne and dancing back. "If you come by Safe Place and show my class that I'm not the only female warrior." As Payne spun around after her, she headed forward again, blocking when needed and throwing punches when their were openings. "It'll be good for them to see how the moves they're learning will be used in an actual sparring match." She stepped back and held up her hands to signal a pause in the fight. "None of the males can come and help me out, so will you do it?"

She paused and stepped back. She frowned for a moment as she thought this over. Truly it would be for the better, those women needed safety classes. She gave a sharp nod. "It shall be my honor to come to Safe Place and help you." Her eyes narrowed, "Those women should know how to protect themselves against the males who lack any true worth." It disgusted her on how evil some males could be.

Nodding her head in thanks, her expression turned to anger and disgust. "Its true. I can see the good Safe Place and the classes are already doing. Its nice to see the ownership these females are taking of their own lives." Sighing, she shook her head. "What do you say we call it a draw for tonight and go bitch about males over wine and chocolate. Isn't that what normal females do when annoyed?"

She raised a brow then went to make a comment then closed her mouth slightly confused. "A draw sounds perfect" She frowned and tried to think of the other ladies in the manse and if that is what they do. She shrugged, "Even if it is not what normal women do, we shall go and partake in this anyways."

She laughed and headed over to the bench with her towel. "Good. I think I just need to try something different to relax. Sparring helped, but it wasn't enough tonight." She dried the sweat off her face and neck. "Need to shower after that work out. Meet in the entertainment room in 30 minutes?"

She grinned and nodded, "Sounds like a plan." She chuckled, "If that doesn't work I am sure we can commander the pool table. Crack a few balls while we are at it." She shrugged and went and got herself a water bottle and another one for Xhex. Throwing it at the other woman she nodded, "See you in thirty?"

She caught the bottle and nodded. "Yep, and I'll ask Fritz to get some good wine and whatever chocolate we have ready. It'll make his day." Laughing, she and Payne left the gym. This wasn't something she would normally do, but since she'd joined the family of the Brotherhood, she'd realized she wanted to make these changes with herself. She would still be the Xhex everyone knew and respected, but now, she could be a female too. A sister to the others in the house. Shaking her head at herself with a smile, she entered her mated rooms and closed the door.
