She was back in the TC with the trainees. Watching them as they paired off. They had only been back for a few days and she was ready to nail them all to a wall. Pansies. The lot of them. They wanted to be warriors but.. she all but growled, "If you all were in the field you would be dead. Making silly mistakes as you are. Did you not practice over your holidays?" She asked them. When they all just stared she just smiled. "You may all begin running laps" she heard a could collective groan and she didn't care.

She watched them all.. lap after lap. Two weeks out and they had already forgotten they basics she had taught them. It looked as though she may have to go harder on them from now on. A mistake could lose a life and they could not afford to lose any of the young of the race..

When she finally called them to a stop she raised a brow at their huffing and puffing. "Are we ready to try again?" She smiled when there were several nodding heads and affirmative answers. "Good" she said, "Now pair off and show me what you have learned." The results this time were ten times more satisfactory then the ones before. There seemed to be fewer mistakes and more concentration. Exactly what she had been looking for.

When she called for a stop the second time she nodded to them, "Much better boys.. now go shower. " She watched as they ran off. Rubbing a hand down her face she sighed.

After the trainees were on their way home she went up stairs to do her own showering. She smiled when she saw Manny go into the room before her, she followed behind in time to hear the shower turn on. She closed their door and locked it before slipping into the bathroom, stripping and slipping in behind him. She wrapped her arms around his waist from behind and leaned against him for a moment. "My healer." She whispered.

When she heard his rumble she smiled a little and was not surprised when her turn and took her in his arms crushing her against him.
