With the Lesser keeping themselves scarce, the Brothers and Warriors haven't been needing to feed as often. That left Selena a lot of time on her hands.
The doggens wouldn't dare let her help them with any cleaning around the Mansion. The vacuum cleaner was practically off limits. What else can she do?
She went down the Grand Staircase an to the kitchen to get coffee. She was met with it practically at the door, as if they could read her mind.
Taking her coffee she went to the library. Placing the coffee on the end table, she went to the shelves and began reading the titles. There books were so different from the one she had on the Other Side. That library only had the volumes of the families. Much of which she herself had transcribed for the Scribe Virgin.

Running her fingers along the leather spines of the books was comforting to her. The felt like home, well the home she had only known before this one.
Then she found the hard cover books of which there were many and she read the titles and authors names. She found the books about Dark Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon. There were so many of them. Pulling down the first one, she went to the big comfortable chair in the corner. Pulling her feet up under her, she sipped her coffee and opened the book to Chapter 1.

Selena sat reading for most of the night til she began to get hungry. Taking her empty coffee cup and her book , she went back to the kitchen and asked for a turkey and cheese sandwich to be brought up to her room. She wanted to continue reading about Julian and it would be rude to do that at the table.
By the time she made it to her room and had just closed the door, the knock came. Opening the door, the doggen was there with a full tray for her. He brought in her turkey sandwich, a Pepsi, a carafe of coffee with her favorite white chocolate caramel creamer and Splenda and blueberry muffins. You'd think she was eating for an army with all this food at once. He placed the tray on her table and asked if she required anything else. "That's fine thank you, it will take me all night to eat all of this." The doggen bowed being closing her door and leaving her to her book.
