Waking by the raising of the shutters, Selena dressed and made her way own to the kitchen for her usual coffee and blueberry muffins. Just a snack before first meal.
Walking into the kitchen the doggens were well into preparing first meal. But they always knew to except Selena to come down early.
"Good eve everyone." She said as she walked in. May I...." before she even finished her request, coffee and muffins appeared in front of her on the counter island. "Thank you" She lifted the cup of strong brew to her lips just as Qhuinn walked in.
"Good eve Quinn. How fare thee?"

Walking through the dining hall, dressed in bare feet and Blay's red satin pajama pants, Qhuinn entered the kitchen. Hair tousled and still sleepy faced. "Coffee. Doggens are Gods." He fixed a cup and moaned at caffeine bliss. "Hey girlie. 'Sup." He scratched his shadowed chin and gave a smile.

Smiling back at Qhuinn, Selena asked, "Did patrol go well last eve? and are you patrolling tonight?" She broke open a muffin and took a bite.

"Patrol is patrol" He shrugged and swallowed more coffee. "No. Big Red and I are home bound tonight." He picked up a muffin and sat at the table. "How 'bout you? Hot date?"

Selena blushed at his question. "You know I never date. Besides I rarely even leave the Mansion. Phury would never allow it. I never have leave to meet anyone new." She sipped her coffee and ate another bite of muffin.
"Do you think that one night perhaps you and Blay can take me for a ride in your car to see the lights over the city?" It was the only way she'd get to see anything, was to have a warrior or a Brother to take her. She was forbidden to leave the Mansion alone.

"Sounds like a good time waiting to happen." He nodded and bit off half his muffin, still talking. "We could hit up Denny's and see the bridges. I will get a plan together." He gave her a wink over his coffee.

Selena blushed again as Qhuinn winked at her. She was not use to his flirtations. "Have you been to see Layla lately? I was just thinking to bring her some tea and muffins. Has she been well?"
She wasn't sure if she was talking out of turn mentioning Layla, but she knew her sister had a special place for Qhuinn.
"How is Blay doing?" Well I pray. "Is he stronger since his last feeding? Oh an do you require sustenance yourself? I am always available for you both since Layla can no longer service you.

"Girlie, all is well on the front. Blay is -fanged grin- awesome and mommasan is doing great. She might like the visit. Especially if you have pickles." Finishing his cup, he went to the sink and rinsed. "How about you hit us up in a hour or so and we can plan a big night on the town, 'kay?" He gave her a hug and noisy kiss on the forehead. "Later girlie." He jogged off, heading back up for shower and Blay.

Selena smiled hearing that both Blay and her sister, Layla were doing well. She hugged Qhuinn as he kissed her forehead.
"Yes I think she'd love some pickles and probably some ice cream to go along with it and her tea."
"I'll see you and Blay in about an hour. I'll just need to change." she watche as Qhuinn jogged out of the kitchen. She finished her muffins and coffee, then got a refill adn readied a tray to bring up to Layla.
