Qhuinn took his time getting showered. Sore muscles praised his idea of hot water. Shit, even his toes seemed happy as the hot water sluiced down between them. He had a few bruises coming up and a scratch or two from a feral cat that he pulled from a Dumpster, all TAA DAA Houdini style. He gave a small chuckle. Damn thing held his arm like a life ring.
He bent his head under the spray and palmed his growling stomach. He and Blay could use a feeding soon. No doubt. But he would settle for omelettes and fruit right about now.
Turning off the bliss, he shook his growing hair, now to his nose, and pulled his towel around his waist. He got a good eye full of drowned vampire in the mirror as he turned to their room. He laughed.
There, curled up in the oversize down comforter, was Blay. Snoring away peacefully. It was then, Qhuinn smiled, and dropped his towel. He carefully tugged the spread out from under Blay and slowly curled his big body around his male, enclosing him in his arms. With a mumble and a quick slide back into Qhuinn from Blay, Q grinned and kissed a freckled shoulder. "Hey."
