No noise not even a peep came from the hall.
After her last encounter with the sin eaters.. yeah those bastards didn't deserve the "nice" name for them, she sat down in the floor in the dark exhausted and hurting again. Her forehead still pounded from the nose crunch she had dealt Thing 3. On top of all that she was blood hungry and food hungry. Perfect as her hellren would say "cluster fuck"
Getting up she began to pace the floor. A soft sound met her ears. Damn it she wished she could see. Where had the light under the door go? It was there a few.. oh no ... no no no..She saw something move in the crack beneath the door throwing a shadow..
It was big..
it had 8 legs
and she screamed.

Apparently they were closer than she thought. The door sprang open and the over head light flashed on blinding her. The collective gasp pulled her eyes to them. Ehlena looked down at the hem of her robe and blinked. The floor around her was covered in spiders and scorpions but for a four foot circle around her feet. Nothing was coming close to her. Thing 1 and Thing two's eyes popped wide as they stared at her while she stared at her feet.
"Oh my god," she breathed. Something clicked in her mind. She looked up at the sin eaters and grinned. "NOW can I have an audience with your King?" she said taking a step towards them. With each stride the creepy crawlies moved with her but kept their perimeter they got no closer to her. However the shoes of the The Thing brothers was a different story. They jumped back out of the way as Thing 1 yanked out a cell phone.

Appearing on the porch of the farm house that was used for visitors, he felt it the pull of her and he growled. He could feel that she was hurt and weak. Starting down the steps he was stopped by royal guard at the same time the cell he used for them to communicate went off. He half barked half growled into the phone. "You best be fuckin telling me you found the civilian that Wrath told me was missing remember you can't keep a lie from me."

Standing before the pair, the one on the phone went white.
She could hear Rehvenge's growl and smiled.
"We found a female that claims she knows you, My Lord. Shall we bring her to you?" he asked his eyes flipping up to Ehlena's.

Hanging up the phone he saw his vision go read and flat. closing his eyes he plugged himself and and could feel the fear of the the who had called. Speaking to all of them thru the link he pushed into their minds as he shoved his way thru his guard as the flanked him."You will put her in my chambers before I get there or I will give you to, King Wrath and the Shadows and not give two shits."

The male on the phone blanched even further.
"You are coming with us. His Lordship wishes to see you," he snarled and took her by the wrist.
He lead her down the hall and up a familiar flight of stairs into a wide open country house. They bypassed the grand living room and went up another flight of stairs and down to the end of the hall where they were met by 2 more males standing guard over an ornate door.
"His highness demanded we bring her," Thing 2 said.
The red leer from Tweedle dum pinned her. "Try it sin eater and I'll break your nose too." she hissed. With a jerk he stepped away to open the door to allow their little trio inside.
"Touch nothing," Thing 2 growled.
Ehlena took a deep breath.. her hellren's scent was all over the place. Thank the Virgin.

He got to his room and saw two guards and three Symphath's standing in front of the door. He saw a length of chain in of the three knuckled hands. He growled and they all hit their knees as he pushed into their minds. "Why was I not contacted, or why was King Wrath not told? You endangered all of us by your foolery and it will be your funeral pyre. There had beat be healers in with her right now."

Thing one and 2 stood still as she moved slowly by them to sit down in a chair by the fire place with a sigh. She watched as the two stiffened and their eyes went wide with panic.
They slowly started backing away from her.
"You... you smell like him," one whispered.
"You carry our King's scent," the other chimed in.
"I tried to tell you that but NOOO you wouldn't listen would you? I bet you do now."
"You didn't carry his scent when..you arrived."
" I smelled like a car wreck and I didn't arrive I was taken," she corrected. "So was I lying?" she said folding her arms over her body.
Thing 1 and 2 looked at her then each other. The look that settled over their faces was priceless.

Willing the doors open they slammed against the wall and he growled at the two that where standing before her. Looking at her he hoped she had that beach scene up as he started to push into the symphaths minds. "You WILL go to your rooms and will not leave till you are beckoned." They scattered and he spun on his heels watching them go and the healers come. He looked at Ehlena and spoke softly. "Fear not. Let them heal you and then we shall get you back to where you belong."

The doors slammed open and her male strode through looking every inch the pissed off King. She knew the look on his face time for Margaritaville she thought and let the waves on the beach appear in her minds eye. Thing 1 and 2 skittered away like the creepy crawlies that they were and two females came in carrying what looked like fresh clothes and first aid supplies. She nodded at his formal words as tears of relief filled her toffee colored eyes. "Thank you my lord," she said softly.

"This no issue. I am sorry you where treat thus. Your King should have been notified. For that I am most sorry." He went to stand by the window as the healers worked. After they where done he told them to leave and take the guard with them. Once he knew there where gone he willed the doors shut and locked it with his mind. Going over to her he gently picked her up and took her place in the chair and held her. "Are you okay Leelan?" He asked softly.

Ehlena relaxed as the healers carefully cleaned her head wound free of blood. The females were quick and efficient. When they had given her a good once over they quickly filed out of the room at Rehvenge's order. She watched as the door swung shut behind the healers and heard the tumblers roll locking it. He moved to her then picking her up to settle her into his lap. She melted into his strength. "I am now nallum," she said in answer to his question as she wrapped her arms about him cuddling to his chest with a sigh of relief.
