Khaos and Mayhem had been released from guard duty at her door right after Autumn's needing was over. Thankfully it had only lasted 2 days. The next time Selena unlocked her door and left her room, she breathed a sigh of relief. The noises had stopped. The crashing furniture had stopped. And she was just over all glad that her needing wasn't triggered.
Selena had dressed in clothes of this century to go to Havers'. He probably would rather her be in robes but even Havers had to join the 21st century. She wasn't sure how Havers felt about Marissa and Butch's mating because she had never spoken to him before, but then it wasn't something he' discuss with her anyway.
Pulling on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, she sat down to put on her running shoes. Confident now that she could leave her room, she opened the door. She walked down the hall of statues and went own the Grand Staircase to the kitchen to have a cup of coffee while she waited for the shutters to go up. She walked into the kitchen and sat at the counter island. "Good eve everyone." All the doggen were rushing around the kitchen prepping for first meal. But there was always one of them that would stop and get her coffee. He set it down along with a basket of freshly baked cranberry/orange muffins just from the oven. They smelled delicious and she helped herself with one, placing it on the small plate that had materialized for her. She sipped her coffee and had a muffin. They were warm and inviting.
