All of the school supplies had finally shown up, and Beth couldn't wait to get out of the manse and start teaching all the enthusiastic young that wanted to learn how to read. It had taken a little bit of convincing for Wrath to let Beth do this. She promised that she would have one of the brothers go with her, Mary and Selena. She kissed him goodbye and told him all will be ok. She walked down into the library to wait for everyone. Smiling big as Selena strolled in "Hi there, I am so excited to get started"

Selena hugged Beth in the library as they waited for Mary and Rhage to join them. Fritz had everything packed in the van and waiting and ready to roll. He had also packed a few of those big lights that was battery powered for the tent so we could all see well. "Fritz has seen to all the supplies and I'm sure he also packed some sort of snack and drinks for the young as well. And something for the mahmen's too."

Holding Mary's hand he squeezed it, taking the stairs two at a time into the library seeing Selena and Beth he grinned. "Hey ladys are we ready to go ?" He asked spotting fritz he handed him another bag which only seemed to delight the doggen more. He shook his head as the old man walked off. "Can you three try to behave when we get there, and if theres danger for crying out loud just get out of there. I'm there for protection and im not sure about these males just yet." He said pulling out a banana tootsie pop.

Swiped the tootsie pop from Rhage smiling as she kissed him. "Why is it you think we need to behave? Last I checked we usually do a good job of that. Also keep mini Godzilla in check and I will make him happy later."
Snorted as she looked at Selena and Beth. "Ok ladies are we ready?"

Laughing at Mary and Rhage "Yes I am ready to go. I am so excited to be doing something fun." Looking over at Rhage" and I will behave, don't you worry about me. If anything goes wrong, Wrath will have me locked up in the manse so quickly it would make my head spin. Plus I would never see fresh air again without an armed escort lead by him." Beth grabs her bag with her cell phone and other essentials "ok ladies and gentleman, lets get going."

Selena laughed at them all. "Well I'll behave too I suppose. These are my only outings outside the Mansion, well except for Grand Camp and Safe Place. The fresh air is good."
The four of them all went through the kitchen out the back door to the garage an got into the van. After buckling up, they were ready to go. "Rhage you do know where we're going right?" She smirked at him through the rear view mirror.

He rolled his eyes at beth as they walked. "He may lock you up but he'd castrate me, feed me it and then Kill me plain cold murder and i'd like to keep my life." He said as they reached the garage, waiting until they were all in he kised mary long and hard before climbing into the front and starting the van up. "Yes I know where we're going." He snapped playfully before pulling out of the grounds hearing marys laugh in the back.

Yes Rhage, Wrath is a tad overprotective. Don't worry you will return to the manse in one piece" crossing her heart smiling at him. Everyone in the van was laughing, joking and singing along with the radio as they drove along. A huge smile came across her face as they reached their destination. Rhage got out first to make sure all was ok for the women to go in. Waiting for the ok Beth just looked for the signal to come out as he was greeted by a few of the residents.

The colony was getting use to seeing us there and everyone was a lot more relaxed than they had been in the past. Rhage gave the go ahead and we all got out and greeted everyone. The young ran up and some even embraced us.
"Tonight we're gonna learn our ABC's." The young smiled and followed us as Rhage began bringing in the supplies to the tent an setting up the lighting inside. "If any of the young want to come learn and play, pass the word around and meet us here."

He jumped out the van giving them all a look telling them to wait as he walked over to one of the males talking to them, seeing a nod for him he glanced around they weren't a threat unless it got too intense but he gave the signal for them to come out as he was joined he kissed his female before leading them to the tents and went to get bits.

As everything was being set up, it was a great site seeing all the little ones running over to them. The cutest little girl with curly black hair and blue eyes came over to Beth and hugged her legs. She smiled down at her "hello there, oh my you are a beauty. Are you ready to have some fun?" the young just smiled at her and said <yes miss I am> releasing Beth's legs she started laughing and spinning around the room. The room had about 9 or 10 little ones just bouncing around. "Hello there my name is Beth. We will be ready soon so if you would like to sit at the tables and me and my friends Mary and Selena will give you what you will need ok?"

With the tables being set up and the chairs put out, the young began sitting down as we passed out tablets and pencils. Some of the young weren't sure how to hold the pencils and Selena walked around helping them. Beth had the dry erase board set up to show them the letters. The mahmens that were there also helped with their own young as well.

Rhage came back and stood at the edge of the tent just watching, knowing that if he walked in he'd still probably scare half the beejeebers out of most of them, turning he scanned the area for the male warriors, they weren't so primal now but he had a feeling they still weren't used to this world where they could be violent.

She walked into the tent with the others and smiled. She could see most of them were scared but so ready to learn. "Hi everyone I'm Mary." A younger female smiled slightly at her and she could tell even with Rhage outside it scared her. She went and sat by her. "Hi there." When the female quickly looked down she sensed something was wrong.

The young and a few mahmens were anxious to learn. When looking over at one of the little female's that was talking with Mary, something seemed a little wrong. Beth knew how scarey her first day at school was so she thought that was all it was. Walking over to the board, grabbing a black marker. "Hello everyone. does anyone here know their ABC's? If you do, would you like to come up here and help me?

Selena watching as a young male with long black hair and blue eyes, went up to help Beth at the board. He wrote the first 3 letters and stood to the side as Beth started reciting them and the young copied her.
Selena sat down by another male with brown hair and green eyes and she found that he was left handed so she helped him adjust. The young repeated the letters as Beth said them. "A...B...C..."

He turned his head watching them, smiling slightly. He would of loved to have had females hlping him as he grew up. He shook his head clear and wnt back to standing, trying not to look so intimidating.

She lifted the female's head to look at her and noticed what she had hoped she hadn't seen before and blew out a slow breath. "I won't make you talk to me, but I am a good listener and so are my friends." The female turned away again and nodded. "Well if you want to talk I will be right over by the other tables if you want to talk." She stood and walked back to the other tables and frowned a bit when Beth and Selena looked at her. Bent down to help another of the young with their ABC's.

Beth smiled at a few of the little males had joined her to recite the alphabet. After writing all the letters on the board, she turned to the group. "did you know if you sing, it is easier to remember? Why dont you try it with me. A B C D E F G" a few of the kids sang right along with her, but there were a few that just looked at her shaking their heads. Making a mental note on who needed more help, she continued with the others. As she hit Z there was a few claps and laughing. With a little nod to Selena and Mary to the ones who had trouble, and it all seemed to go pretty smooth as a start.

As the young sang along with Beth, she noticed Mary's nod and wondered about the female she was talking to. She seemed to not want to talk and Selena thought, 'oh no'. She wondered if she was someone who would benefit from Safe Place. She'd wait til after class to ask about her. Selena walked around helping the young that were having trouble.

As the class finished he walked in behind mary bending down to kiss her gently seeing that she'd had an issue with a young and she was concerned. He kissed her neck. "Is everything okay my sweet ?" He asked.

Shook her head no and faced him. "No, but you know me I don't want to push the poor female into talking to me. But I can tell she really needs someone." She frowned again and leaned up to kiss him. "Maybe if I can get her to go to Safe Place it might help." She walked back over to the female and let her know about Safe Place and that if she wanted to go there all she had to do was contact one of them to take her there. As she went to walk back to Rhage the girl came and hugged her and she smiled. "I can't promise anything, but really think about going there ok?" She nodded and ran off.

As they started to pack up everything, a few of the young came over to Beth, Selena and Mary thanking them for everything and asking when there will be another class. Smiling down at them "We will come back some time next week ok? You can practice with these books" handing them a work book and a few pencils." We are happy to be helping you and that you had fun" Hugging one or two of the kids, shaking hands with the mahmen that had joined us. As the last of the stuff was loaded into the van, Beth walked over to Selena, Mary and Rhage. "I think it went pretty well for our first class, but I see that we had a slight problem with that younger female. Don't worry Mary, I have a feeling that she will confide in someone soon at least I hope so." Hugging her close, they all get back in the van and head home with hope for the young that they taught today.
