She walked into The Pit and sat the small bag down on the counter. She had been to the little accessories shop in town and purchased something for the young female at SafePlace. It was dark but she saw the faint light coming from the television. Walking into the living room she bent down and slipped her hands over her hellren's shoulders and kissed his cheek. "I'm home, nallum."

Hitting the mute button on the remote, he put his hands up to hold hers. "Hey there, beautiful. Did you have a good night?" He leaned back and smiled up at her, the SportsCenter announcers on the television no longer holding his attention.

"I did." She walked around the sofa and sat down next to him and laid her head on his shoulder. "I went to one of those little shops that sells jewelery for the young. Nothing expensive. I was going to give the little girl I told you about a set of mine, but they are too much for someone so young, so I got her some less extravagant ones."
She looked up at him under her lashes, "How was your night?"

He wrapped his arm around her and held her close, breathing in her ocean breeze scent. "Boring. I'm off rotation and there's no game on tonight. So tell me about this jewelry you bought for the girl." He had a feeling that less extravagant to her was still extravagant to him and a small young.

She smiled wide and her eyes went wide. "I was hoping you would ask that."
Jumping up from her seat next to Butch she ran, almost skipping into the kitchen and grabbed the small plastic bag from the counter, then came back and sat next to Butch facing him and pulled one leg under her. Leaning over she turned on the lamp sitting on the side table. Reaching in the bag she pulled out a small little cardboard square with small square cut studs similar to her own that Butch had given her. Only smaller and not real.
"They are faux, but they look like mine. She was so taken with the ones you gave me, I tried to get as close as I could without them being too big for her tiny ears."

He smiled as he watched her go to get the jewelry and skip back to the couch. Taking the box, he turned the studs side to side, examining them. "Hmmm. Fakes, huh? I think she'll love them. She'll be so happy to have some just like yours." He handed the earrings back to her and winked. "I'm glad she likes my taste in jewelry."

"Oh you should have seen her the day I caught her in my office. It was too cute." Smiled and put them back in the bag. "She reminded me of me when I would sneak looks at my mahmen's jewelery."
Laughed a bit, "She was so worried I thought she would steal them. I can tell a curious little one when I see one. Because I was one."

Chuckling, he took her hand and squeezed. "That's sweet, baby. She sounds like a little girl I might like to meet. Perhaps I can take you girls on a dinner date one of these nights. And her mahmen, of course, if she wants to go along. You all can do that girl thing and get all dressed up." He flicked her ear, setting the earring to sparkling in the light from the lamp. "Wear your pretty jewels."

She gave him a small smile and bowed her head a bit. "I think that would be lovely, nallum." Raising her hands she pulled some of his shirt in her fists and pulled his lips to her own, kissing him softly. "You know I love you?"

He grinned against her lips and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his lap. "I do. You know I love you?" He looked down at her fists wrapped in his shirt and raised an eyebrow at her. "Playing rough, baby? You know I like it rough."

Smiled and blushed a bit. "It's your own fault." Released her fists and let her hands trail up his shoulders and rested her hands on either side of his face. She brushed her nose against his. "and I do know you love me."
Fiddling with the button on his shirt she traced a circle back and forth around it, "You think I should tell the little one's mahmen before I give the earrings? You know...just to make sure. I wouldn't think it would be a problem, but I'm not used to this kind of thing."

Sliding a hand around her and to her thigh, he squeezed lightly. "Well, I think it depends on the kind of female she is, but I would say that you should mention it to her before giving the gift. Ensure she knows its not charity. I'm sure she feels she is relying too much on you already. I know from experience that it can be a delicate matter."

She gave a quick nod, "I suppose you are right. It truly isn't charity, I just got a bit nostalgic over the young." She smiled, "You give good advice, nallum."
Rested her head on his shoulder again and kissed lightly on his neck, "You should see her, she has bouncing blonde curls and blue eyes. Very sweet. I think she must look like her sire, her mahmen has dark hair and eyes."

Lightly he trailed his fingers over her back as he leaned his head on hers. "Thanks, I try. She sounds like a little version of you, baby. Can't wait to meet her, then I'll get to see what you were like as a little girl." A memory tugged at him of a similar situation he was in as a cop. He frowned and brushed a hand over her hair. "I know that everyone you help at Safe Place means a lot to you and this little girl strikes something familiar in you. Just don't get too attached, honey. I'd hate to see either you or the little girl emotionally hurt when its time for her to go."

She sighed an over dramatic sigh, "I know what you mean." She did, didn't she? She could totally do this. Keep it sweet and just helpful. Nodding she raised up and looked him in the eyes.
"Now that's out of the way. The night is young, what are you up for?" She smiled and her eyes sparkled.

He grinned at her and cupped her face in his hands. "You know me, baby, I'm always up." Growling he flipped around and laid her underneath him on the couch. "No more thinking of little girls...that's just creepy." Leaning down, he kissed her long and deep.

She giggled and returned his kiss which made her breathless as always. Trailing kisses over his neck she whispered in his ear. "The Pit is empty tonight. We have the whole place to ourselves." Kissed again and pressed herself into him.

He chuckled as he grabbed her thigh and pulled her leg up and over his waist. "Good, because I don't want to move from this couch at the moment. I think I'll keep you here until I satisfy you at least three times." Grinning, he leaned down and started at her throat.
